Jim Virgin "National People Finders" ..hard to find them for anything.

On October 12, 1999 I mailed Mr Virgin a check for $125.00. I was assured by
Jim Virgin that he WOULD find the person I was looking for.
At first he claimed to have not received my payment but when supplied with
copies of the canceled checks admitted that he also had found the payment.
On 12/10/99 I emailed Mr. Virgin in reference to his search and he replied he
was nearly finished.
On 1/21/00 I still had not heard from Mr. Virgin so I emailed him for a
progress report. He ignored me.
On 1/30/00 I emailed Mr. Virgin and he responded that if he did not locate
the person in a week he would return my money. I responded and told him if
he needed a little more time that would be OK.
On 5/13/00 I had not heard from Mr. Virgin regarding the locate I and grew
tired of his scam and emailed him to return my money. Again he ignored me.
He has ignored every attempt to contact him to date.
Below is the response, with complete header, in which he agreed to return my
money.
Ken, I did receive your e-mail and I have been working on locating this
person for you. If I do not locate her this week I will refund your money.

Mr. Virgin now states on his site that fees are nonrefundable. This
statement was not on his site when I contacted him. This person is a thief
and must be stopped.
I filed a complaint with the Florida State Attorney General who most likely
will not do anything and a complaint went to his webmaster who will not do
anything.
I will FAX copies of check. Any other information I can give to deal with
this person will readily available if I have what you need.
