Jiffy Lube #1457 Orange, CA They Lie about Services Needed Orange Ca
The Jiffy Lube facility at 433 West Katella Ave, Orange, Ca 92867 has service writers who lie to the customers about repairs that should be done. On 22 January 2020 the service writer , Miquel, stated my oil was excessively dirty. I asked how he confirmed the preceding. His statement was that he checked the dip stick.
Before he had checked it the store manager, Abraham Jimenez, confirmed that on a previous oil change at the same facility the oil stick was replaced with the wrong size. The stick was not long enough to indicate any oil level. The store manager, Abraham Jimenez, confirmed there was no oil registered.
It would have been impossible for the service writer Miquel to have checked the oil condition from the dip stick. Miquel then stated the radiator cap was defective, the water level was low needing additional coolant. I then stopped him and went back to the manager stating my displeasure of Miquel lying to me.
When having your oil changed the facility states several additional challenges that they indicate needs immediate attention for additional charges. I directed this challenge to the district and corporate offices with no reply. Apparently they are aware of these practices and do nothing to correct the station charging for additional unnecessary repairs.
I recommend avoiding Jiffy Lube facilities and particularly Jiffy Lube facility #1457 located in Orange, California.
