Landlord does a Crash n' Grab Jay Investments -Stephen & Sally Jay rip-off landlords CA
One month before I moved out of my rental house, my landlords brought in realtors and a work crew to remove my stuff and prep the house for sale.
I demanded the return of my stuff, including the month of rent I had already paid plus my deposit. She denied everything and hired a very aggressive attorney who threatened to bring criminal charges against me if I didn't just go away.
Two local attorneys, one specializing in tenants' rights say I have a rock solid case, yet the costs to win would outweigh the victory.
We reported the landlords' attorneys threats to the bar association and are awaiting a response. For the lost rent of $3250 and deposit, I want my money back!! For the IBM Thinkpad, chair, desk, glass tiles, office supplies that were STOLEN, I want my stuff back!!
