If you are ever approached by James Bruno who lives in Arizona and is affiliated with Costa Rica/ James Bruno Enterprises and the Sedona project..... ILX Resorts.....
Run as fast as you can. I invested over $200k in both projects. The Costa Rica project is in pre-foreclosure because of James Bruno's mis-allocation of funds. Not only was I told that the land that I invested in was "Free and Clear" but over 20 other shareholders were told the same.
I saw a recorded video where James Bruno was caught on numerous lies and deceit regarding this project. It is all verified and provable. There is over $3.6 million that is at stake regarding the Costa Rica project that James Bruno single handedly ran it into the ground. Albeit, it has not foreclosed yet as of July 6th 2008, however the clock is ticking and James Bruno will not turn over the "corporate books" so we are at a standstill. James Bruno has told a couple of people that he doesn't care if the current shareholders lose their money that when the land goes to auction, he will buy it back at a discount. The shareholders have spent 100's of hours and thousands of dollars trying to fix what this "waste" has done.
He has also been seen doing Cocaine and Marijuana by several folks that I have heard from. Not good.
I also understand that James Bruno was arrested in the Houston airport for assault. I have verified this and have the case number as well. Took place on May 14th 2008 during the day and he stayed the night in the S.E. Houston jail until the next morning on the 15th. Although, James denies this ever happening, it did. Pics are posted on the internet already that prove it. Google search "James Bruno Chandler" then click on the link that says "The Dirty"
I am also an investor in the Sedona ILX Project. My money is no where to be found there either. When I call James Bruno and ask what is the status..... He talks in circles and doesn't answer the questions. The questions that he does answer are Lies. This is the case with many others that I know that invested there as well.
The shareholders have also found out from our attorney in Costa Rica that James Bruno has written the following insufficient funds checks in Costa Rica....
1. Two Checks for $100k each to the land owner of the Costa Rica Investment that we were all told was owned "Free and Clear". There is over $1m U.S. dollars still owed and in default
2. Two Checks for $25k each to a couple of very nice shareholders in which they were insufficient.
The moral of this story is........... "Do not do business with this man." I was a fool.

Easy way to put this Clown OUT OF BUSINESS

Attack any TV station, newspaper or Radio station that airs or prints this CLOWN'S advertisments. Trust me is this guy advertises on KTAR 92.3 FM or KFYI 550 AM or any other radio station or TV station. Make it known where this CLOWN advertises. Let's say just for conversations sake that he has his advertisments on KFYI. And you mention KFYI many times in your Rip Off Report making it known to all to pay close attention to what they air, Then the Stations General Manager will get pissed that they are poping up on google searches on ripoffreport.com. they then will take a second look at this Clown and take a closer look as to if they should cancel the advertising contract they have with him. Trust me no radio staions sales department wants their boss to find out that one of their advertisers are getting them blasted all over ripoffreport.com because their listeners are being humped. No TV station wants to be bashed or mentioned on this great web site because one of their advertisers are humping the hell out of their viewers. They will s**t can the advertiser. If a scammer has no place to advertise, he has no access to a new batch of soon to be VICTIMS! Bash where ever he advertise!
