After my membership ended I canceled and refused to renew my membership. I was recently notified through my credit card company's Fraud Alert system that "How About We" was trying to charge my card, I declined the charge had to get a new credit card sent to me. I then went to search my old credit card records and found they had been charging me every 6 month for the last 2 years $59.94 thats $239 down the drain for nothing...It was hard to catch because it was every 6 months on a random date.
It appears through my research that there are lots of people experiencing the exact same issue...Canceling a memebership and then "How About We" system continues to charge their customers with no notification or approval. Check BBB-Better Business Bureau records.
Why was this charge flagged this time and not other times by AMEX? perhaps Amex is having a lot issues and charge backs with "How About We" and they flagged their business.
The bigger issue how many more people in the world out there are having the same issues and not realizing it. How much money has this company taken from others through this deceptive and predatory business practice.
I have been in contact via email and telephone to no reslove or resolution. They have refused to give me a refund and now I am left with only legal options and trying to help others avoid having this happen to them. What good is my money to them if never received any service or products? how many other people are they making money off of from this practice??
