HH Gregg Deceptive Business Practice Chattanooga Tennessee
Purchased a Samsung TV in early January of 2015. Salesman Levon Swafford told me about great price guarantee that HH Gregg used: If the price dropped at the store in the next 90 days I would be refunded the difference.
Salesman repeatedly warned me to wait as close to the 90 day mark as possible to make my claim because I could only do it once. I watched the product's price drop $300 over the next few months and attempted to claim my refund during the last week of my 90 day period. I was informed that no refund would be given because the product was discontinued.
To add insult to injury the TV was supposed to be a top-of-the-line 4K TV and it looks awful in it's largest viewing mode. Samsung has a Smart View feature and if you set it to SMART VIEW 2 it looks really amazing...but only takes up about half of the available viewing area. It's only 720p at best when you use the whole viewing area. I tried calling Samsung to see if there was something I wasn't doing correctly, but was told that this is the best I can do.
This has been a very expensive lesson to learn from HH Gregg and Sumsung.
