Grimco Shipped the wrong cartridge after I paid $77 for overnight, promised to credit the entire order, now they're telling me that they're simply not going to honor their initial agreement. Fenton Missouri
Foremost, know that I've spent over $100,000 with this company over the course of 6-7 years. One printer alone cost nearly $20,000 and then I've ordered truckloads of paper and ink from them. This was when they were known as Advantage Sign Supplies. I loved doing business with them and their sales rep took great care of me.
Then, sometime in 2017 I believe, they either changed their name to or were acquired by Grimco. That's when EVERYTHING changed.
In this last horrible experience, I had called the same sales rep I've always dealt with and ordered a printer ink cartridge for around $160. I needed it overnight, and they offered the service for an additional $77, which I paid. The next day, my ink arrived, but it was the wrong part.
I called my reps cell phone and he said he was on vacation. Two days later, another rep called and offered to send out the correct ink and credit my entire order. Although I had lost several days of production, this deal was the best I was going to get, so I accepted it.
I waited for 4 or 5 weeks for their credit to post back to my credit card. It didn't. I contacted my rep and he said that it was already done. After several attempts to convince him, he finally agreed that they hadn't refunded my money and promised that it would happen soon. About two weeks later, I did see the $77 shipping charge credited. I began to ask about the ink credit, and I was given the runaround.
Finally, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Grimco responded that they'd give me merchandise credit despite their promise for a full refund. When I tried to use that credit, I was told that there wasn't a credit in the first place.
I've been printing for nearly three decades and I can honestly say that I've never been so blatantly ripped off by ANYONE as I have been by Grimco.
BUYER BEWARE! These guys are 100% corporate scheisters and will lie to you and then lie again about the lie they just told. There are so many other options. DO NOT TRUST GRIMCO!
