Goodwill claims to hire people with disabilities but I was discriminated against today. I mentioned to the manager about my disability, and the woman with an accent and dark straight, shoulder length hair started to talk down to me. She started to accuse me of things she thought I said in the interview that I never even mentioned. I started to tear up because I couldn't believe this was happening to me. She could have helped me but she was so rude and condescending. She rushed me out without even giving me a chance. A lot of disabilities are not visible unless you get to know someone and she didn't care. I put all the things I bought before the interview, on the counter and said "You guys can have this back. I am not buying anything more from a company who discriminates against anyone". I will never buy from them again. PLEASE DON'T BUY FROM GOODWILL BECAUSE THEY LIE ABOUT BEING AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER!!!
