After speaking with John extension # 2845 (Smart Lease Maturity Agent) I guess the lack of communication within the company did not mean anything when Melissa extension #5779 (Smart Lease Maturity Agent) misrepresented any loyalty I trusted in doing Business with General Motors!



Mis-informed by verbal attempts of security, and also by mail the GM confirmation Troy A. Clarke stating, " As I said at the outset, we are genuinely grateful for your business, and we hope that you will stay with us. If you are considering buying a new vehicle, please review the enclosed information as our way of saying "Thank You" for your ongoing support.



My leased vehicle was due to be returned August 7, 2009. Melissa states, " We have been unable to contact you by phone and our records indicate you have not returned the vehicle. We must hear from you upon receipt of this letter or we will initiate other actions to take possession of the vehicle. Costs incurred to take possession of the vehicle may be added to the final settlement amount to the extent that the law permits.



I already made a extention on my lease prior to this notice with John.



I called and the lady I spoke with looked over my record and confirmed that I was granted an extension on my lease and the paper work would arrive.



Another person signed for the paperwork I thought was going to be an extension document only to be a threat from Melissa about the situation with my car that was already granted. My car was taken because the conflict within the General Motors Company Lack of Communication with in.



Melissa states, " We have been unable to contact you!" When I was communicating about the extension of my vehicle since Feb 2009.



Troy A Clarke states," REST ASSURE, we will honor the warranty commitment given to you at the time of your purchase. Our GM Dealers are very much open for business, and ready to meet your sales and service needs."



I bought my first GM car at a very young age, a sunfire and paid it off with in the first year then turned it in to purchase an Envoy lasting for four years, I then turned in my Envoy to Rinke Cadillac Dealership with John Degrande as my salesperson. I turned in my Envoy with a down payment of what my Envoy was worth at the time being a little over $8,000 due to the up coming Credit Crunch that I was unaware of. I bought my lease with Rinke Cadillac Dealership only to receive poor customer service and when the time came to turn in my lease the Salesperson, (waitress) belittled myself by offering a used car that should have been in a junk lot rather then in a Cadillac lot parked a far distance from display. I feel as though I was manipulated by the salesperson and mislead as a young buyer, John Degrande sold me the car the first day I sat down with him, manipulated my credit as many other Americans were scammed unaware of the Scandal behind the true reason for General Motors going Bankrupt. Rinke Cadillac has the poorest Customer Care, I was refused by the body shop manager for repair to my car. I feel sorry for the person who bought my leased vehicle from the General Motors auction because I was unable to use my trunk because everytime it rained my trunk would fill with water. The body shop manager called it a pool of water instead of the proper reasoning for the place in my trunk was to be storage for my spare tire. I believe General Motors took advantage of me, took possession of my car and sold it then sent me a bill for the loss of money which I have no responsibility for. Business failure only to displace blame on loyal customers.



General Motors has lost my business.
