FOX 6 investigative reporter John Mattes first broke the story how Girls Gone Wild was marketing videos for only $9.99 consumers found the company tacking on huge fees. Thousands of consumers called it a rip-off on ripoffreport. After our story aired an attorney sued calling it deceptive advertising. Video part 1 Video part 2
I called up 1-800-896-0368 GGW to order what i thought was two videos. I got an operator that could barely speak english, and then was transfer to another operator that could speak english, but could not or did not listen to a word I said. I specificaly told her that I only wanted to order the two videos advertised in the commercial and that was ALL. She said okay.
Now almost two months later i am receving videos once a month and being charge and unspecifed amount. The videos come in a box without any purchase order information, no packing list, no customer service information, and no return label if you choose to return this product. You only get a web site address on the shipping label that says customer service. When you go online to that site it does not say anything about customer service.The part that really bites is the fact that you do not get notifed as to how much is being deducted from you account. What ever happened to a reciept?
You can only buy more video online. This SUCKS! I have had to go as far as canceling my VISA just to get them to stop charging my account. WHAT IS THE DEAL?
