GE CAPITIAL CONS CARDCO COLOR TILE
I had a no pay for a year program with Color Tile. (Did an inadequate job, but that's another story. Every single monthly statement was nearly impossible to decipher.
When we were ready to pay the bill we sent in the amount show in the "amount due" box. They receive that amount acknowledge it and say we now owe a balance and a finance charge.
They received the amount 12 days before the due date. Notified me of the incomplete payment 7 days after the due date. I feel that their invoice was purposefully deceptive.
Ten years ago they owned another debt of mine and I swore never again. I have triple A credit. These guys are going to get paid by me, but I want everyone to know to look out.
