Gateway Computers ripoff deceptive company North Souix City South Dakota
In 2000 I purchased a $3000 computer from Gateway, along with a 3yr warranty. By 2001, I had to have the computer replaced after NUMEROUS calls and letters to Gateway. They sent me a new (supposedly) computer. Again, I had MANY issues with this computer. Replacement parts, and the computer was very unstable.
Now after 2 months of my warranty running out, the computer is HISTORY! Hardrive is gone, and they will not do anything about it. Even tho I have complained since the first day in receiving it. I had a tech tell me that the hardrive may go out. But they did not fix it. I DO NOT reccommend anyone to purchase from this company unless you have money to throw away. That is all that you will be doing.
They do not support you, nor do they give you any satisfaction. The techs are from comic book attire, and know NOTHING except how to decieve! If you ran into this situation, file with the BBB and get them out of business, they are taking advantage of TOO many of us harworking citizens.
No one can afford to give them money and be without a product. FIGHT this company to the end. I know that there are MANY out there that just let them pass by.LET'S TAKE A STAND AGAINST GATEWAY and work together!
