I have had the same problems with Ford's I have kept my family including my mother ford free for over 5 years. We used to buy nothing but Ford's except they would continually have engine problems. Then we would take them in for warranty coverage and they would never finish on time. They hated being bothered with your car problems. I finally convinced my mother who only bought $30,000+ Ford trucks to buy a used Lexus. It was a 1999 GS 300 model that we bought in 2002 for $33,000. It is 2008 and we have replaced the rotors once and had one problem with the ignition that the pre owned warranty covered. They fixed it and gave us an RX-300 rental until they finished. It hasn't been back to the shop since and still runs like a brand new car. The American companies wonder why they are losing so much business to foreign manufacturers.

I have a 07 Mustang and if I don't drive my car for a day or two and it rain all four of my rotors rust. No other car or truck I have ever owned has done this, so they must really use crap parts. I also have learned that my warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on, and customer no-service has quite a few canned responses. There's a T S B on my problem and they REFUSED to fix my car. Good luck

Bought a 2005 F-150. At 16 months, with 21,000 miles, the transmisson goes out. They replaced the transmisson under warranty. I asked why, cause I've had 5 ford pick ups and NEVER had a transmisson problem before. The service guy's reply: "You must have been towing something heavy". I'm the guy people hate, cause I put the cruise control on 55 in a 65 zone, cause I'm not in a hurry to get anyplace and I've never towed anything. let alone anything heavy. I felt like telling him, yeah, your wife's fat a**. Didn't say a word. After they replaced the transmisson, the truck didn't run work a d**n. Sold the truck off and bought a toyota. No fords for me, either. I normally drive 5 or 6,000 per year, but we had my granddaughter while her mother was in iraq and I was putting on 100 miles per day, taking her to school and back, picking her up and back.
