Ford Motor Company Ford Recall My A**! More like Ford Fire and your own your own !!! Dearborn Michigan
On April 21,2007, while sitting in my front yard my 2001 F150 decided to catch fire by it's self. Being a victim of hurricane Katrina by living on the coast of Mississippi at the time. And to add more salt to the wounds , I figured I could work things out with Ford without having to go to court and all.Wrong there, after 6 mos. of filling out everything they had send to me and taking pics of it all. I get one last letter from them saying they needed 90 days for thier engineers to inspect my truck. I was getting hopful that this will soon be over and they would stand good on the recall. Wrong about that.
90 days went by and I send a letter to the Attorney General's office about my situation. That was a waste of time as well! Ford sent them a letter saying that it wasn't thier fault. What a lie! They didn't even send thier engineers to even look at my truck , so how the hell do they know?
I can tell you what the deal is, they didn't inspect the truck because they knew it was thier fault and knew that after the fire there would be nothing to tell any differently. If I can't get any JUSTICE out of all this, I'm going to load the truck on a trailer and park it in front of every Ford dealership between here and Dearborn ,Mich. After all, there's only 2 back tires and a tailgate left!
