I thought we only had those kind of special people in Texas. You "thought" that just because you called the dealer and told him about the vehicle's problems you could drive it forever. Oh, and don't try and drive the car in any water deeper than 6 feet. You might drown.

I feel like reading this complaint has made me a less inteligent individual, now I realize why working in automotive service department is so stressfull, because of foolish people like this. At any point to think or imagine that it is Ford's responsibility or the local dealer to inform you of your warranty expiring over 60,000klm is plain rediculas. It is your responsibility as a consumer to do your homework and understand the legal contract between you and the manufacturer. The warranty period is set to 3 years or 60,000klm - THATS IT, not 60,001 - regardless of what you have previously explained to them, or complained of, once that point is cleared, Ford has no obligation to repair anything at their cost. You must be just plain ignorant to expect anything different
