When I read on a website of Fluor's CEO, Alan Boeckmann, depicted as a "Champion Corruption Fighter" it was difficult to imagine. After all, I had just experienced firsthand, how an innocent worker can become an unexpected pawn in a game of Government Contracts, Big Profits, and Cronyism.
Wendy Hallgren, Manager of Fluor's code of business conduct and ethics has allowed some profoundly unscrupulous behavior by recruiters Stephen Praksti and Brett Kummer, both of whom were aware of a signed employment agreement between the company and myself, which was generated after all of my employment history was verified (on Dec. 3, 2009). I then left my job in the Philippines as the company advised me that they had scheduled the physical and dental exams, police reports, vaccinations and other misc. requirements in Texas. I paid the airfare, medical exam, all of the different vaccines, fingerprinting at the police dept...$3,000...all out of my pocket.
After repeated emails, on Jan 13, Stephen Praksti (whom I have never heard of until that day) sent me an email stating that I seemed to have an employer "missing" on my application and basically wouldn't be hired.
All of this after there was a 12 page govt. questionaire that was VERIFIED, INCLUDING--- 9 criminal background checks and credit checks, residence checks, employment checks from past employers, INCLUDING ONE JOB IN WHICH I WAS PAID TWICE AS MUCH AS THE JOB I WAS OFFERED WITH FLUOR,,,,VERIFIED.
Tell us how much you are billing the U.S. Govt. for the pre-employment services THAT I PAID FOR. THE TAXPAYING PUBLIC WOULD LIKE TO KNOW !
If Fluor can PROVE that their are NOT billing the Govt. for the expenses that I have incurred, and they reimburse me, demonstrating that they ARE capable of good moral judgement, I will gladly print a retraction.
