I had water damage in the ceiling due to a leakky shower valve and possible issue with the cartridge. Water was leaking through the overflow valve and something in there was leaking into my floor/ceiling (2nd story bathroom). The plumber that was sent by the warranty company came out and put silicone around the overflow valve so it would no longer leak. The warranty company is stating there was silicone already there when there wasn't so now they are saying it was a faulty install. Again it was their plumber that placed silicone on the overflow valve. He even told me there was no silicine and there should be some in which he was incorect. Because of that the warranty company hes declined to pay for the damage in addition eveyrone sat around for 3 weeks. My water billl is going to be hundrds of dollars because it is constantly running. I called every week for assistance and yesterday is over 3 weeks from the claim date. Thhis company has a horrible reputation and I now understand why. I think it is important for this info to be open to the public so other residdents do not fall for their scam.
