I HAVE TRIED TO RETURN OR GET A CREDIT FOR AN ITEM THAT IS PAST THE RETURN DATE AND WAS REJECTED A 50.00 CREDIT!!!!!!!!!! IT IS RIDICULOUS THAT THEY WOULD RATHER LOSSE A "VALUED CUSTOMER" THAN TO CREDIT MY ACCOUNT.
I HAVE HAD STEADY ACCOUNT INCREASES BECAUSE OF MY TIMELY PAYMENTS. I BROUGHT AN ALCOVE KNIFE BLOCK AND MY SET IS COMPLETELY RUSTED. WHILE THE REPRESENTATIVE KEPT APOLOGIZING THAT MY PRODUCT WAS BEYOND THE RETURN DATE, SHE NEVER OFFERED ME A SOLUTION THAT WAS ACCEPTABLE OR EVEN ACKNOWLEDGED RESPONSIBLE ON THEIR BEHALF. "BUY TARNEX" HOW DARE SHE?
I AM PISSED AND WILL NEVER PURSCHASE ANOTHER ITEM FROM THEM. IT'S RIDICULOUS THAT THERE WOULDN'T BE AN EXCEPTION FOR A DEFAULT PRODUCT. I AM NOT THE TYPE OF PERSON THAT WOULD WRITE A FALSE STATEMENT. I AM HURT BY THIS EXPERIENCE.

Why should a company be required to make an exception to their Refund/Return policy just because you are a long time customer. Paying your bill on-time is what is expected so why would you expect any "gold stars" beyond the credit line increases they have given you?
If a company makes an EXCEPTION, then good for you. But if they decide to not make one it does not make it a RipOff. By the way when you start to patrionize other stores don't expect that they would be any different in this situation.
But I am curious, just how long past their return period did you attempt to return it?
