 After booking a weeks stay in advance through extended stay America online I was given a booking at their Crossland hotel on Kipling st in Lakewood. At time of arrival they charged my card for the full weeks stay. I received the key and went to the room. It was dark and as I walked up the stairs my shoes were sticking to them, there were garbage bags and even a small grill strewn about in the walkway amid all the filth. Entering the room it had new carpet but suffered from dressers that would not be sold even at the Salvation Army a 25 year old TV obvious holes patched poorly in doors. And a semi collapsed couch. I immediate called the office I made the reservation with them and reported the conditions. I asked for a different hotel they booked one across town that was recently renovated and explained the manager would handle the issues. After going back down I explain myself to the manager she refunded my card and then explained that she refunded the card but I would have to call customer relations to fix problem. The manager at Kipling called the front desk at cherry creek and explained the situation she got me into a room for the night. The following morning the manager left word that I would not be allowed back until my card cleared. I called the reservation line and Jessica spoke with the manager at that location and told me she would call me back se we could work everything out until customer relations opened. Angela never called and refused to return my call. I spent the night in a hotel across town a coworker paid for since all my money was tied up in a refund. Again Monday I called and spoke with a guy in customer relations who apologized profusely for what happen an promised a call back from the district manager that never came nearing the end of the day I called back just to be told all managers are give 48 hours to call back. I have to date never received a call from anyone. I have had to here back from anyone bacon workers
