On a recent trip to the USA, Ive called that company that advertised on the internet, and ordered a Mustek Digital Camera OVERNIGHT. While I was filling the order application, the system went down, and I restarted. Well, 2 days later and my camera did not arrive. I called them and asked if they sent it. They answered "NO" and I cancelled the order, and when I learned that were 2 orders pending (due to the computer crash), I also cancelled the other order.

Then I came back to Brazil. When I checked my Credit card payment, there was a payment to Easybuy2000 for something I cancelled. I tried many times to get into a settlement with them, but it didnt work. PEOPLE, DONT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE LIARS, IRRESPONSIBLE, and MAJOR CHEATERS.

Ok, after all this time, Ive finally got it. Now that everything is ok, I can *TRULY* tell that Easybuy and me had a rough beginning, and thanks to RIPOFF REPORT, we managed to have this problem solved. Now I have the camera, and Id like to say that after all, they made what was necessary.

I have agreed to ship it to him and he will be getting the camera very soon.

This email is a rebuttal to RipOff #3613. It was sent by Ve Mai at [email protected]. Easybuy2000.com - Slow and Unreliable rip-off *UPDATE ..Thank you Rip-off Report (#3613) They filed the following rebuttal to the above Rip-Off Report: Their email: [email protected] Their name: Ve Mai Their phone number: 1-877-505-4689 Their relationship to the company: Advocate Rebuttal: Please be aware that the dealings in the case with Mr. Alfredo Jara was extremely rare. He made 2 orders, which he explained why on his report. One of the orders was cancelled and the other was not. We sent the camera out to him, to a hotel he was staying at but the product never reached him. We had a tracking number to prove that we sent the order but it could not be tracked. Subsequently we opened a postal inquiry with the postal company to locate the package. As the postal inquiry was taking place, Mr. Alfredo Jara who was quite upset that he didnt receive his product and the fact that he has now returned to Brazil, decided to file this rip off report about our company as he felt we were ripping him off. Once the inquiry was completed and the postal company found out it was they who have lost the package, we gladly offered to send the camera via international courier, DHL to deliver this to Mr. Alfredo Jara in Brazil. But Mr. Alfredo Jara refused to do this as he said it will cost him too much in taxes to get this delivered to him in Brazil, he said that he will get back to me with an American address to send his camera too. This last message was sent to me in November of 2000. Mr. Alfredo Jara never gave me that American address until recently when he emailed me 8 months later to tell me to ship it to him. I have agreed to ship it to him and he will be getting the camera very soon. Thus, the dealings we have had with Mr. Alfredo Jara was extremely rare. After all this time that this rip off report was posted about us, slamming our reputation we were always working behind the scenes with Mr. Alfredo Jara to rectify the problem. After all this time Mr. Alfredo Jara never acknowledged any of the things we have done to recitify this problem until now when he has received his camera. I didnt want to post anything until this matter was settled as i did not want to come across as hypocritcal, but i guess it is smart to hear both sides of the story before making a judgement.

Hello,

I issued a complaint on your site, and finally after a year, Ive got the solution And Id like to thank you guys, because your site helped me to getting into terms with the company.

Thanks,
Alfredo P. Jara

Ok, here is the story on how I got what was owed to me.

Last year I went to the US, and I bought a digital camera from Easybuy2000.com company. I was using a computer connected to the Internet in Louisiana University, and when I was finishing the transaction, the browser crashed. So I opened it again, and finished the transaction. The next day, I saw there were 2 orders of the same product for me. So I called the company, and asked them to cancel one order. And so it was done. They said the package would be at my hotel room in three days. But I had to come back to Brazil, and the package didnt arrive.

So I called the company again, and asked if they sent the package. They said it was not sent, and I asked them to remove my order and cancel the billing on my CC.

When I arrived in Brazil, I saw on my report I was billed, and I havent got the camera. I sent them an email, and they said the package was sent, but I didnt receive it. So I asked them to give my money back, but they didnt want to do it. So I found your site in an email I received back then, I filled a report, and sent them a copy of the link. They said it was not fair, but it was the only way for me to do something about it. They agreed to send me another camera, but it is quite expensive to ship it to Brazil. Now Ive got a freight forwarder that can ship it to Brazil for a decent price.

So, if I didnt filled a complaint report, Id have lost the money... Now I can get a camera, almost a year later.
Thanks,

Alfredo P. Jara
