DISCOUNT MOTORS ripoff FRAUD,BROKE MANY LAWS, SELL CARS WITH FRAME DAMAGE WITHOUT DISCLOSING TO CUSTOMER THIS COMPANY TREATS THEIR CUSTOMERS LIKE DIRT! ARLINGTON Texas
I purchased a car and paid it off, a 94'Dodge Stealth $14,000 later, I was in a accident, and while the insurance Co. were battling I needed to get to-and-from work.
I purchased a 2nd vehicle, an eclipse which I was TOLD was had NEVER been wrecked. 3 months later while driving 55 mph the hood flew back, and slammed the windshield, causing me to wreck into a guard-rail. Come to find out when taking the Eclipse in for an estimate the replaced hood latch was faulty, and was not the original.
When looking through the glove box I found paperwork from a body shop that stated there was over $5,000.00 in body damage, including UNI-BODY damage, and much, much more. LEMON!
They told me that it was up to their discretion to release my title on my Stealth! WRONG. I was also told that they would take my eclipse away from me if I didn't sign a cross-collateral agreement! WRONG. So the next day after inquiring about this so called document, I informed them that I would not sign that doc. so they never even gave me a copy of my initial contract that I signed when purchasing the Eclipse.
I informed them of the hood and body damage issue, and they were panicking about a possible LAW-SUIT, my car pymt. was ONE DAY LATE, and they came and picked up MY ECLIPSE AND MY STEALTH!
BY THE WAY, THEY STOLE EVERYTHING OUT OF MY CARS. THEY GAVE ME A TRASH BAG WITH A FEW POSESSIONS OF MINE THEY HAD DESTROYED, AND POURED TOMATO JUICE ALL OVER! AS IF I HADN'T BEEN THROUGH ENOUGH, AND OUT MORE MONEY THAN I WAN'T TO DISCUSS! THIS COMPANY TREATS THEIR CUSTOMERS LIKE DIRT! THEY BREAK EVERY CONSUMER LAW IMAGINABLE! SELL RECONDITIONED TITLES, AND ALLOW THEIR CUSTOMERS TO BE CRASH TEST DUMMIES IN THE VEHICLES THEY SELL (A.K.A LEMONS!). IT'S A MIRACLE THAT I AM ALIVE.
IF NONE THE LESS, PLEASE USE MY EXPERIENCE AS A FORE WARNING! I WISH I HAD KNOW ABOUT THIS COMPANY BEFORE-HAND! I WANTED TO PASS ON THE INFO.
