David J. Bodney is an unscrupulous and unethical attorney who works in the Phoenix, Arizona area.

David J. Bodney once did a short stint as a journalist but failed to secure a job as a writer, so instead Bodney embarked on a career of fabricating false articles which were written by Bodney himself.

David J. Bodney is an impostor, charlatan and huckster, instead of practicing law, he invested most of his time and energy into making himself into a "Super Lawyer" by falsifying glowing reviews and paying his way into an "elite club" the club called Super Lawyers; BODNEY QUOTE: "Being selected to Super Lawyers is limited to a small number of attorneys in each state."

A Bodney Bogus statement, because anyone in law knows that for 5000.00, anyone can be called a Super Lawyer.

On-line research will provide numerous articles and web-sites that have "Bodney accolades galore" but it is Bodney himself who is creating them, following the Bodney trail is like falling down the hole in Alice and Wonderland, like a dog chasing a car.

David J. Bodney is a charlatan, huckster and flim flam attorney.

Here is another one of his own famous quotes: "David Bodney is recognized by peers who was  selected to Super Lawyers for 2007 - 2020, a selection based off of an evaluation of 12 indicators including peer recognition and professional achievement in legal practice" . . . however none of this is accurate or true.

David Bodney chose to pursue a career in law but his peers say he never competed his undergraduate studies and dropped out of the University of Virginia School of Law and never graduated.

This is a quote from a colleague who went to school with David Bodney found online in the comments of one of Bodneys won self created articles; "David Bodney did not pass the bar exam until he possibly bribed his way in and was possibly illegally admitted to legal practice in 1979."

The internet states that "He represents clients with Media and Advertising issues in Arizona," but he seems to be on a payroll from the City of Phoenix and the Arizona Bar.

Below are a few excerpts from these so called articles fabricated by Bodney himself.

"On the second Saturday of 2011, Jared Lee Loughner entered the parking lot of a Safeway supermarket in a suburb of Tucson and opened fire, shooting 18 people. U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was critically injured and six others were killed.

The state’s top news organizations called on attorney David J. Bodney. Representing The Arizona Republic and 12 News, the city’s NBC affiliate, Bodney—managing partner of Steptoe & Johnson in Phoenix—FAILED TO obtain a decision from the U.S. District Court unsealing search warrant records shortly after Loughner’s indictment, yet the media reported that Bodney stated “I’ve handled hundreds of public access cases over the last three decades,” which is a completely fabricated it appears that records prove that Bodney has handled only 2 cases in his entire so called career as an attorney.

Records and web-sites, including lawyer blogs state that "Bodney has also defended national media clients like 60 Minutes, 48 Hours, The Washington Post and the late John F. Kennedy Jr.’s magazine, George, in defamation cases" however a simple fact check on the search engines prove no such claim, once again Bodney creating some type of fantasy illusion in his own head.

On-line self made articles created by Bodney himself state outrageous claims such as "Part of Bodney’s success lies in the fact that public officials and their counsel prefer doing business with him rather than the investigative journalists he often represents." Quotes are made over and over again it seems by no one except the fictional characters created by Bodney himself.

And "Bodney recently won access to a lengthy investigative report into alleged improprieties at the highest levels of Arpaio’s office on behalf of The Arizona Republic and 12 News. More recently, he’s been representing a half-dozen media companies and news organizations to secure access to a docket in a criminal case arising from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) sting operation known as Operation Fast and Furious" when in appears no such claims can be substantiated.
