I am afraid I haven't played the PT Cruiser game so I can't really comment on what may be expected when ordering this particular model. I am sorry for this customer's disappointing but my experience with them has been quite different. I am not certain what has occurred since '96 when I bought my first Dave Smith vehicle. I haven't heard that they have changed ownership so I expect their underlying commitment to service should be similar. I ordered a new '97 Town and Country from Dave Smith Motors in July of '96 and received it about when I expected, near the end of September. Regarding service, this particular vehicle happened to have a faulty injector that went out at about 1200 miles. I took it to a local dealership because Dave Smith Motors is about 70 miles away. This dealer, Spokane Chrysler, kept the vehicle for a week and didn't repair it. A week was all the time that the warrantee allowed for a rental vehicle. I called Dave Smith Motors and asked them what I should do. Apparently I had just done it. They hired a towing company to haul a brand new Dodge Caravan from their inventory to Spokane. I drove to Spokane Chrysler at an agreed time and picked up the loaner from the tow-truck driver. He just gave me the new van and towed my van back to Kellogg to have the repairs completed. There was no paperwork, no I.D.; just, in effect, Here you go. OK; thanks a LOT! Wow, that was entirely TOO EASY! When the repair was completed Dave Smith Motors hired a towing company again and had my Town and Country delivered to my place of business in Spokane. The towing company also picked up the loaner and towed it back to Dave Smith Motors in Idaho. Frankly, I don't recall how long it took them to repair my vehicle. I guess that's because it didn't really MATTER! I expect to purchase a new vehicle soon. Will I do business with Dave Smith? Of COURSE I will...so long as they can make the vehicle I'm looking for available! The low prices at Dave Smith Motors apparently are not the only reason they are the largest Dodge truck dealer in the Nation. In my opinion, they are still well deserving of my business.

I HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER OF DAVE SMITH MOTOERS SINCE 1982. THEY ALWAYS HAVE BEEN RESPONSIVE. ONE TIME THEY REFUNDED MY EXTENDED WARRANTY MONEY SEVERAL YEARS AFTER I BOUGHT A CAR, WHEN I SOLD IT BEFORE IT HAD EXPIRED. I'VE NEVER HAD BETTER SERVICE.
