Dave Blankenbaker will underestimate the bid just to get the job, complain about the job when he is doing it, and will not tell you how much any overcharges cost. So in the end, your work will be adequate (not great) at double the cost and you will have a healthy dose of attitude to go with it.
A strong word of caution to single women or older customers: Dave can be very aggressive when he works. He regularly spoke to himself in a very unkind way. At one point, he yelled Oh, you have got to be kidding. I overheard this and was concerned and asked him if everything was ok. He reprimanded me saying in a paternalistic tone, I thought I told you that you were not supposed to listen to me when I work. This coupled with a few other things leads me to believe that Dave has a serious anger management problem.
I will not dispute the bill because I fear him. The several hundred dollars that he overcharged me is not worth being on the receiving end of his rage. The reason I am posting this is because I feel powerless and the only recourse I have is write a review hope that other people are not taken advantage of like I was I wish I had read this thread before I hired him.

P.S. I wrote the above before I saw this thread. I will have to agree with the woman who said that Dave will take advantage of his customers. You can also tell by his multiple responses here (rants) that he indeed has issues with his temper. I suspect that he will respond angrily to this post as well.
