On May 9th I called several DQ restaurants and got no answers from any of them except this DQ on Saltzman Rd. in Portland, OR the time was 3:13pm. I ordered an ice cream cake for my pregnant daughter for Mother's Day. Pick up date was 5/11/14 10am.     

I picked up the cake on Mother's Day5/11/14 it looked beautiful from the side I couldn't see the top becase it had a lot of vapor and plastic was foggy. I took it to my daughters and stuck it in the freezer since she was sick and sleeping. Anyways later that night my daughter called me and told me the cake said Happy Birthday To Be and she sent me a picture. We were both pretty upset. I tried to call but got no answer so I called Monday. 

The cake was supposed to say Happy Mother To Be Day not Happy Birthday to Be Day. who in their right mind would order a happy Birthday to be cake. Anyways I called on Monday and the young man said to bring the picture on wednesday the 14th and talk to the manager, so I did just that and she was pretty rude. I showed her the picture no sorry no offer for a credit or refund. She said I needed to bring the cake back and it had already been 4 days because I had to wait for the manager to be in. My daughter did save the cake but her stupid roommates ate the whole thing when she told them not to.

That cake decorator ruined my daughters Mother's Day and she couldn't put a picture of the cake in her baby book because it didn't say what it was supposed to say. I didn't order a birthday cake. I ordered a Mother's Day cake.  I also called 2 times to the DQ hotline and talked to Derek twice and filed a report and he said someone would get back to me and I haven't heard a word from them of course. on their site it says youguys are our No.1 priority!!! That's a Lie!!!

You don't know me, so don't accuse me of being a thief. I've never stolen anything. I paid to get  a Mother's Day  Not a Birthday To Be Cake!!! I know what rude is too, so I don't need to read anything you say to read. No one needs to hear from Jack A** know it all people like you, because you don't know and were not there!!!

You're an idiot!!! You weren't there so you don't know a d**n thing!!! They told me to bring in the picture not the cake idiot!!! So go to Hell!!!

 The problem is that you JUST showed a picture. Without the cake for PROOF of your claim, what were you expecting them to do? At that point YOU are just a scammer looking to get something for nothing. You can CLAIM whatever you like online because it is online. So your entire post could be nothing but a pack of lies designed solely to get YOU a FREE CAKE. The same is true in the store, THEY have ZERO proof that the picture that was taken was of the ACTUAL cake and NOT a picture of some cake you picked up elsewhere. YOU claim the manager was "rude", how exactly was this person "rude" to YOU? Did they perhaps spit in your face? Maybe a few choice words on the legitimacy of your parentage? No?? What you are calling "rude" is them NOT GIVING YOU YOUR WAY!! THAT is not being rude. What YOU did was. YOU expected them to JUST give you a free cake because YOU claim that there was a problem with the one you purchased, yet you provide NO PROOF. As I said, THEY have no proof without the cake. You are SO SELF-ENTITLED you expected them to give you another cake. Why would they believe YOU??

YOU need to take this up with your daughters "roommates" because THEY are the ones that ACTUALLY ripped you off. Had you brought in the cake, Im 100% sure that they would have taken care of you in the manner that YOU demand. Since you CANNOT provide PROOF, THEY are going to view you as a SCAMMER. You can act as indignant as you like, you can be a complete d****enozzel as much as you care to. It STILL WILL NOT CHANGE THE FACT THAT YOU HAVE NO PROOF OF THEIR MISTAKE!!! Dont YOU think its an awful convenient excuse that you cant produce the cake, yet you CAN produce a photo OF a cake all because your daughters roommates ate it. Perhaps its because YOU have no idea how business works. Customer Service doesnt mean that you get to basically steal from them and THAT is what you are complaining about.

THEY wouldnt give you your way and THAT makes them "rude". Perhaps YOU should read a book by Emily Post and REALLy learn what "rude" is. Because YOU are under some misimpression that YOU are entitled to get your way. The ONLY thing you are entitled to is the ability to wake up and breathe. EVERYTHING else costs.

THERE IS NO RIPOFF HERE!!! Just the USUAL consumer self-entitlment and a buttload of general dumbassery.
