Dairy Queen No burger Nationwide
Every where I try to find the burger at Dairy Queen as show on TV. I can not find one many Dairy Queen in Richmond, VA area. that should serve burger. When I was kid then, it have burger on menu everywhere. Wish Dairy Queen tell the truth.

Always check any advertisement for disclaimers whether it be a printed ad or a television commercial. The advertisement for the burgers is for DQ Grill and Chills. Don't forget that the commercials are paid for by Corporate Headquaters but each DQ is a franchise and as such is limited in what it can serve by HQ.
In order to become a Grill and Chill the owner of that franchise must pay a considerable sum usually in the millions of dollars and that facility cannot be within the radius of another Grill and Chill because it would then cut into the others profits and thereby affecting HQ's profits as well.
Grill and Chills as a whole are authorized to sell grilled and fried foods such as burgers, fries and the chicken strips as well as the dessert center portions. Regular DQ's are just dessert centers authorized to sell things that can be made quickly, such as BBQ sandwiches, 'Grilled Chicken' which is grilled by HQ and flash frozen to be shipped to the stores and re-heated in a boosting oven. They can also serve the hot dogs, chili dogs and iron-grilled sancwiches which are cooked on an iron-grill much like a waffle iron. Their main source of income is the dessert section which involves novelties, ice cream cakes and the soft serve ice-cream desserts such as cones, sundaes, blizzards and shakes. I hope this helps.

The DQ burgers in the commercial do look really good. I decided to try one and unfortunately my local DQ actually does sell the burgers. I think they were actually boiled? It was the nastiest thing I have ever tasted and I threw it out after the first bite.
I keep seeing commercials for Sonic but the closes one to me is about 300 miles away. BRB, going to file a report about the lying bastards at Sonic advertising on my TV with no restaurants near me.
That's sarcasm by the way. You can google it so you know what I am talking about, it's S A R C A S M.
