My wife was sold a "protection plan" for our credit card. The salesman "got in the door" by claiming that this was to renew an existing contract, so my wife went along with it. NOT TRUE. We had no such contract. We called back to cancel (877-336-7282) and were told that our credit card account would be credited. A month has elapsed and still no credit. Calls now go to a recording that cannot accept new messages. The recording ends with a "God bless you". Nice touch.
To make matters worse, the charge was billed as a CASH ADVANCE, through a third party payment system called EpaymentSolutions. So now we have additional transaction and interest fees. EpaymentSolutions gave me the following info:
