CompUSA Linksys complete REBATE RIPOFF New York New York
I got a Linksys wireless router for internet with supposed $20 CompUSA rebate and $10 Linksys rebate.
The cashier gave me a "thermal" i.e., "receipt" that was about 3 feet long and she said the rebate info was on there. Great.
So I got home and meticulously filled all out, cut out proof of purchase etc. etc.
Bottom line BOTH rebates DENIED because, they said, get this, I DIDN'T SEND THEM A RECEIPT!! ALL I SENT THEM WAS A "THERMAL!!"
they advised me to GO BACK TO THE STORE AND ASK FOR A RECEIPT, THEN SEND THAT TO THEM AGAIN!!!
None of this mentioned at the store - not convenient for me to go back and INCREDIBLY TIME CONSUMING - WHAT A ******** RIPP OFF!!
