Compaq Computers And CompUSA false rebate offers Columbus Ohio
In 1998 I purchased a Compaq computer from CompUSA. I signed up for Internet service with the CompuServe company in exchange for receivng a $100 rebate. I did not receive the rebate.
I made numerous telephone calls, sent many letters and made trips to the CompUSA Store. No one ever helped me, and I never received the rebate.
I gave up on ever seeing the rebate, but I would like to report the incident so that other people are not taken in by the same false offer.
