When buying vehichle paid $1700 for CNA Extended Warranty with sales pitch "if your transmissionev ever fails you'll need this warranty."  Four years later - still under the extneded warranty - transmission failed.  Slips out of gear while driving then slams back into another gear with massive bang.  CNA response was a lot of words and delays but boiled down - "We aren't going to cover this because in our opinion you can still drive it".  The only offer was that if I went ahead and repaired (about $3000 out of pocket), and then submitted the detailed claim they might or might not decide to reimburse me.  Of course already I had to pay for the diagnostic by Ford that stated "transmission needs to be replaced".  Can't afford the $3000, so out of pocket the diagnosis charge and ahve ot drive it until it blows apart on the road sometime.  Wife is afraid to drive it and it is our only car.
