On 12-19-99 I purchased a 31" Proscan TV from Circuit City. The purchase was an open box item. On 7-23-00 I discovered that the TV was a 1995 year model. I was not told how old the TV was when I purchased it and I was charged $549 for that five year old TV. Circuit City employees I spoke to said it was an acceptable practice to sell old products at new product prices and that they had not obligation to disclose the age to the TV.
