Cingular Wireless ripoff had no penalty on my plan changed plan recently and now they say I am bound for a year Fort Lauderdale Florida
I want to know if anyone has the same problem, after being a customer for more than 8 years and not being bound to a contract anymore, I had changed plans a few times after my first two year I decided to change to a better plan a few months back, I decided to cancel my contract about a month ago because I found a better deal with the competition, when I called to cancel the representative on the phone told me that I have a 1 year contract that started as soon as I made the change, that is illegal because I was not told at the time I made the change.
Now I am being billed for the penalty, I wonder if there is a class action suit going on in this regard. I paid my dues for many years to the Cingular ripoff team and I am going to fight this to the end.
