Our company decided to use CIHost to host our website. After signing up, it took several weeks to access the site. We made repeated phone calls to their technical support and sales staff asking for help. Every time they kept telling us "we can access it from here". They were of no help whatsoever.
Eventually we got fed up and asked for our money back. We were within the 30-day Money Back time frame as posted on their website. They told us "oh, that doesn't apply to you"!!!
Rather than pay to transfer to another host, we stayed with CIHost. Soon after, however, we began noticing inconsistencies in their billing. They charged us for resold accounts we had long since cancelled, and the numbers didn't add up from month to month.
Their service crashed and was so severe it was reported on MS-NBC. Many ex-clients of CIhost are getting together to file a class-action lawsuit. Their servers were offline for several days.
Since the crash our webmail system is offline, we have lost clients, and suffered economic hardship from not having our website up.
