Oct 28 1999 hire Sam abdullah of christown para legal to do paper work for change in child support. Sam says it will be one week and he will return on following thursday to my house with completed papers. Does not show up calls twodays later says he will be at house with papers. does not show up and finally shows up the folloing friday which is two weeks later which is now middle of november. claims he has had death in family. pay him to have papers drawn up filed and served. this is the last we have heard of Sam in person. this is now Feb 21st.
We have called his office at least once every day and his mail box was always full, and making rrepeated trips to his office found him never thier but a lot of other angry clients were. called the home number he gave me and no one ever answered, and of course no message service thier.
the middle of january i called to find out that the recording of the "Voice mail box is full " message was replaced with one stating he is no longer taking any new clients and the office is closed all pending paperwork will be mailed by the end of the month. that was in january and it is now almost the end of february and until yesterday i got the same were closed message now only to find its the mailbox is full message. i have recieved no paper work or rembursement for the filing fees or the server fees but he sure cashed my check----exactly one day after recieving it. i have the check available for inspection it was ck #3143 in the amout of 301.00.

Which means, that this person might have been practicing law without a license since there was obviously NO attorney involved here. I don't know if paralegals are licensed in your state. They aren't in mine and they don't even have to be certified but I DO KNOW THIS, that what that paralegal did to you was PRACTICING LAW WITHOUT A LICENSE where I come from. You could have got on the Internet and found out what paperwork to file without having to be gouged by this so-called paralegal. How do you know they were even a paralegal in the first place? I could claim to be one in my state with NO credentials. I would report this to my state bar association! In my state this alleged paralegal aka attorney wannabe would be in a lot of trouble... IF they were reported to the bar association...

This type of brazen daylight robbery must stop and the only way is for victims such as yourself to continue to pursue this individual until you catch him. .... If you do not ... you will certainly run into him or another like him again. He can run and he can hide but you must dog him until he makes full restitution of your money. Find out who regulates para legals ... who licenses them and begin there. Don't hire a lawyer they are the mothers who spawn paralegals. I hope you are inspired to continue and not roll over and give up.
