This is our story. We purchased 3 funeral plans from Charter Funeral Home. We already had 3 paid up plans at Bolton Funeral Home. My husband talked to Bolton about bringing my sister, Roselyn Sellers, here from Florida after her passing away. Bolton told my husband they would have to charge a fee of $1000 or so extra for that service. After we were told they would charge the extra fee, we wnet to Charter Funeral Home to see what they had to offer since we had a friend there.

Our friend at Charter Funeral Home told us we could get all of our money back from Bolton, if we bought the funeral arrangements from him. We proceeded to do so. We went by the Bolton's that day and told them we wanted our money back. Bolton told us we could only get 75% back. That was a shock! We went back to Charter and began trying to get our money back.

One of the owners said they had a lawyer friend who could get the money back from Bolton but this would take time. This started in July. We went to Charter last week DATES NEEDED HERE and told them we were tired of all the hastle and we want our money back FROM WHO? We were told by two of the owners and Charter that in two days we would have a check. We waited a week and then went back. We were then told it would take another 30 days.

My husband told them on Monday, DATE NEEDED that he would picket them. He has been picketing them for 5 days now. Charter called the police. My husband told the police our story when they came. The police told him not to go on Charter property and to have a nice day. The 3 Funeral Arrangement Plans we purchased FROM WHOM? amount to around $9,800.00. We owe a balance of $1,000.00 on one of them. All we want is our money back now! We dont want to wait another 6 months.

We have decided to keep our arrangements with Bolton since they are our best choice.
