HR PRIVETTE NEEDS TO BE PUT BEHIND BARS ONCE AND FOR ALL!

I ordered Pennsylvania House bedroom furniture from Carolina Furniture on May 23, 2002 from a sales person named "Randy."

I signed the contract and sent in my deposit of $1941.00.

After waiting 16 weeks, I called them occasionally to check on my order. Each time I talked to someone new, and was told lie after lie. Part of the order was there, all of the order was there and they were behind on deliveries.

Just before Thanksgiving after calling and calling for HR, I finally talked to HR. He is so smooth. He told me this is an exact quote, "Let me make it up to you Mrs. L. we shine in delivery.

I will deliver your furniture before THANKSGIVING." He promised to call us that evening with the exact time. Needless to say that is the last we heard from him! After calling and calling through December, I sent a two day letter demanding my entire refund to be returned immediately! WHAT A JOKE!

I came home from Christmas vacation honestly expecting to find a check in the mail. When there was no check, I went to the computer and typed in "HR PRIVETTE"

The computer took me right to RIP OFF REPORT! The first letter I read was one from a Scott from Kensington, Conn. telling his story and how to get your money back.

I sent all the paper work to the North Carolina Atty. General. I sent a letter and the paper work for Mail Fraud to the Postmaster General in Washington, DC.

I sent all my paper work and letters to the Det. who is now taking care of the case in North Carolina.

Guess what Scott was right, NONE OF THEM CARE ABOUT YOUR MONEY AND IF YOU WANT IT BACK IT IS UP TO YOU TO GET IT YOURSELF.

THIS IS WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO:

CALL THEM HUNDREDS OF TIMES OVER A FEW DAYS.

I JUST GOT MY CELL PHONE BILL AND COUNTED 170 CALLS OVER A TWO DAY PERIOD.

AND THAT WAS JUST FROM MY CELL PHONE.

I TOLD HR I WOULD MAKE IT MY MISSION IN LIFE TO FOLLOW HIM FOREVER TO THE END OF TIME TO GET MY MONEY BACK.

YOU HAVE TO SCREAM INTO THE PHONE, RUTHIE IS SO SWEET IT IS HARD TO DO.

WHEN SHE PUTS YOU ON HOLD, HANG UP AND DIAL RIGHT BACK, OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

MAKE SURE YOU TELL HER WHO YOU ARE AND INSIST ON TALKING TO HR.

DON'T TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER.

THEY ARE IN ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY, AND ANSWER THE PHONES TRYING TO SCAM MORE PEOPLE.

GET YOUR FIRENDS TO CALL AND JUST YELL INTO THE PHONE GIVE SO AND SO BACK THEIR MONEY.

DRIVE THEM SO CRAZY THEY THINK YOU ARE OVER THE EDGE.

ONE SATURDAY, WE CALLED FROM 9 IN THE MORNING TILL 9 PM.

JUST PUT THEM ON AUTO DIAL, AND WHEN THEY DON'T ANSWER SCREAM INTO THE VOICE MAIL TILL IT IS FULL.

THEY EMPTY IT OFTEN IN HOPES OF GETTING NEW BUSINESS.

FINALLY, WE RECEIVED A CALL FROM HR TELLING US THE CHECK WAS IN THE MAIL VIA FED X AND WOULD BE TO US THE FOLLOWING DAY.

THE CHECK ARRIVED, HOWEVER IT WAS POST DATED FOR FIVE DAYS LATER.

I DID NOT BELIEVE THAT HE WOULD HAVE THE MONEY IN THE BANK IF I TURNED THE CHECK INTO MY ACCOUNT AND WAITED FOR IT TO CLEAR.

SO ON THE DAY THE CHECK WAS TO BE GOOD, I CALLED THE BANK TO SEE IF THE MONEY WAS IN HIS ACCOUNT.

IT WAS AND WE DROVE 340 MILES TO THE BANK IT WAS DRAWN ON TO GET THE CASH.

GUESS WHAT, TWO DAYS LATER THERE WAS NO MONEY IN THAT ACCOUNT.

YOU CAN DO THE SAME THING AND HOPEFULLY GET YOUR MONEY BACK TOO!
