Capital One Illegal re-aging, seems to blow off all laws. ripoff Glen Allen Virginia
Since Jan. 2004 Capital One has illegally re-aged an account I have disputed on my credit reports. They have not responded to any letters from me yet continue to update my reports with the credit reporting agencies. They have not yet even proven this account is mine yet continue to poison my credit.

Capital One is still violating the laws right and left as well as my rights under the FCRA and Texas Consumer protection laws. I was able to get in contact with Mr. Cooke he said they have sent documentation as proof the account is mine, I still have not received it after almost 3 weeks. Also Mr. Cooke said I opened the account at an address I didn't live at until a year later, he said he had the proof of it yet I have seen non of it yet. They are still reporting the account and verifying after I asked for verification, They sent me nothing yet continue to update with the CRA's. Why is Capital One able to thump their nose at the laws?
