capital dredit alliance.--credit card scam---if you get mail from them, rip it up.
i had gotten a letter from them saying that i was appr. for 6500.00. so i decided to get it only finding out that i could only buy from there catalog. i had already given them my bank info and theni decided to cancel. one of the rep told me that shw could not do that i have to call customer service. so i called them and they told me that i have to spk with a sup. to canel. this was way before the date that the membership frr of 199.99 was to go thru. which was 11/16/2001.
the rep who i spoke with then said that the supervicor was not available and he will move the date to 11/23/2001 so that it will give enough time for someone to call me back. supervisor did not call me because supposedly they had the incorrect home number. yeah right!! any way i called them back on 12/7/2001 to find out if they cancelled it. i spoke with a brunnetta and she told me that they had put it thru and it came back ret. and they had processed it to go thru again on the 12/6/2001.
i told her to cancel it again she said that she couldn't because it was already processed in the computer to go thru and she can't override it. they took the membership fee from my accnt. and then told me that it was non-refundable. they are a rip off. and don't hold up to their word. they had all that time to call me to cancel but they didn't beware of them.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
