This internet company offers free calls. It means you can talk long distance for up to US$5 and then "zap" (delete) this charge (one in 24 hours) on their webpage. Sounds too good to be true?

It also states in their webpage that most calls will be visible within 24 hours or less.

Now to my complaint:

I called every day (long distance)for about $5- (the limit) for about a week. I checked my account every day and there was no listing of any calls that I made on those days.

Finally after 9! days the calls were listed to zap.

I could zap only one call, because the next day I was charged on my credit card for all the calls....no chance to zap any more, but they chashed my hard earned bucks.

This has happened a lot over my membership time of about 11 months.

If I run a business I make sure it works the way it should. Overall, it cost more than using a normal phone company.

I asked the company to cancel my membership via E-mail.

It took 6 days to receive a reply & they were VERY unpleasant.

It's not worth trying to save a few bucks for all that stress.

In the past, bigredwire had experienced problems processing calls in a timely manner to members accounts. We apologize for any unexpected errors that may have occurred. However bigredwire has always been very generous providing credits for any zaps that were missed due to the delay in receiving calls.
