I ordered a piece of software with a time-critical delivery. I ordered the software on 15 April, the software had a public release date of 28 April (it was released to stores the day previous to be shelved on the 28th for sale). I also ordered 2nd day air delivery, so I should have had the item on the 30th or the 1st at the absolute latest.

I received an email late on the 29th stating that Best Buy could not ship the item until the 4th, they "apologized for the inconvenience" but would not cancel the order when asked nor would they even refund the shipping costs (2nd day air doesn't mean delay by 4+ days).

After calling Best Buy to file a complaint and even attempting to work things out with a supervisor, customer support personnel on the phone refused to transfer me to any supervisors. Their web site is a complete rip off. I would advise anyone seeking to purchase software online to do so elsewhere.
