Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals ripoff, do not order altovis product Cincinnati Ohio
In April, in response to a television ad, I called the company for a free 30 day sample, only having to pay shipping & handling charge of $4.25, and had to charge this to my credit card. I tried the product for 2 weeks, and it gave me an upset stomach.
Yesterday, May 05, 2004, I received 2 more boxes of altovis. I called immediately and explained to the customer service rep. that the order was sent in error, I did not request another shippment. The service rep. told me that when I called to request the free sample, I was automatically enrolled in some type of managed care direct program. I explained no I did not enroll in the program, I only wanted the sample to try it first. When I told the rep I wanted to return this shipment, which I did not request or order, I was told I had to call BEFORE the shipment was sent to cancel, and I am stuck with the 2 boxes I just received, my credit card already has been billed $70.00. This is not right, and I explained that I am going to do what I can to reverse the charge, and told the rep to cancel any further orders IMMEDIATELY.
I feel I have been ripped-off, and am EXTREMELY CONCERNED that they have my credit card #.
