On 6/13/22 I signed a contract with Bath Planet of Atlanta to perform a tub-to-walk-in-shower conversion. I paid a $4,000 deposit. Work was to begin within 8 weeks. July 13, 2022, I began calling to find out the start date. By 8/19/22 I had called 11 times and left 11 messages for the manager, none of my calls were returned. I submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and copied Bath Planet. After receiving my complaint letter, Mr. Bradley of Bath Planet finally called claiming I had never called him. He actually began yelling at me when I refused to consent to work commencing in September. At this point, I want a full refund. Mr. Daniel actually threatened to charge a "restocking" fee. What would require restocking since no work was performed? (After research, I discovered the phone number on the contract and the number on their website are two different numbers.)
Better Business Bureau has scheduled an arbitration for 11/10/22.
