Back Street Gallery - Phoenix, AZ Former Owner Amanda Robison on her way to Dallas Texas
Had over 25 items on consignment with this store. Starting last December I made many calls to the store at 4702 N. 7th Ave,Phoenix, asking if any of my items were sold and if I was to receive any monies for items sold.
Repeated calls to the store produced no results.
On 5/21/2000 I found out through a friend of the owner, that the store was vacated and all my items were on the way to Dallas, TX. She also had a check for me for $18.00 which I never received.
I then filed a report with the BBB in Phoenix, but nothing happened with that, since owner refused to answer the BBB's request for info.
On 5/17/2000 I notified the PHX Attorney General's Office.They have tried to locate this store in Dallas to no avail. I do know the store was to have the same name in Dallas as it had in Phoenix.
The PHX Attorney General's Office then notified the Dallas Attorney General'sOffice, who wrote back saying they couldn't help me because of limited resources. Well I would like to tell Dallas my resources are limited too, because I am on a fixed income.
If anyone out there has dealt with or knows anything about
Amanda Robison, owner of Backstreet Gallery, or the Gallery itself, please notify me. She is a cheat, and a first class con artist.
