AUTOGARD PLUS rip-off Miami Florida
One fine day(bad day is more opt here) I received a membership program from AutoGard Plus without me ever consenting to be a member. This letter is signed by one A.Sigler, Membership Operations and says its a free trail membership for 30 days. I ignored it as I was confident that I never opted for any such program.
After 15 days I received a notice from Mr. A.Sigler Thanking me for using their trial membership(Which I never used) and advising me that my credit card will be charged after the trial period. I immediately contacted their customer support and have to demand them to cancel the membership and refund the charges if any to my credit card. When I enquired about how they enrolled me as a member w/o me ever opting for the same, I got an answer that some body contacted me on some day by phone blah.. blah... All lies U see.
I strongly suspect they illegally got my credit card number from some other similar program by name "American Values" which I cancelled some time back, with similar experience. These people change their names and address as they like. The first letter was one address and the second a different adress.
Consumers be aware of these un ethical companies. Never reveal your credit card number over phone. Never get tempted by sweet talk. Insist on receiving all the details on paper before opting to be a member. If such a thing happend to you pls. report it on the internet to educate other consumers.
