     I have been with at&t for several years.  Then two years ago, I called in a service call because my internet was very slow but I was paying for the unlimited high priced internet. So they come out and they want to change and charge me for a modem I have owned for several years.  After several months of calling and complaining, I finally complained to the BBB and they took the charges off the bill.  My internet was still very slow.  They kept blaming it on living in an apartment.

     I called in to pay my bill about three months ago and they offer Direct tv now for $10 per month.  I have never had any trouble going over my data.  I start watching their Direct tv now and I thought I had unlimited last time I checked.  Now I am getting notices of going over data and for ever 50 gb I use they will charge me another $10.  

     I call at&t a million times and they tell me I am going over data due to watching AT&T Direct TV Now.  I am finally told this after calling them for two months trying to figure out the problem.  I tell them to cancel the Direct TV now.  For some reason I am still going over my data alottment when I wasn't before???????????   Now they are saying I owe them $70 dollars extra for July.  

     I make another BBB complaint because they keep tellling me I continue to go over the data alottment just watching netflix and hulu when I never did before.  No one can seem to fix the problem.  I get a call from At& T, from some guy "from the office of the President" who doesn't speak very good english. After trying to understand him for several minutes and all I hear is "no change plan, no change plan.  I told him someone changed my plan without my permission.  He kept saying "no change plan, no change plan".   I asked if there was someone else I could talk to. He said he would get someone else to call me and hung up.  I never received a phone call back and they wrote to the bbb and said they could do nothing furhter to help me.

     At& T is saying I am using 50 GB every two days now and still won''t fix the problem they caused by their Direct TV now.  BBB is no help at all.  I wanted to add more comments to my complaint they said I couldn't.  I am trying to get rid of at&t and there are no other internet providers in my area, so I am stuck.  I don't know how to stop the overdata charges and stay with this crappy service.

    I am starting an "I hate AT&T" facebook page and going onto other social media to get more people to understand at&t stinks.  I already have supporters who want to help.

     Everytime I called at&t I was transferred approximately 6 times per call to different people.  All they do is talk.  They never listen.  They just need to look to see that the direct tv now server is still on and shut it off. very simple.  they just won't do it because they can steal more money from people that way.

    Their customer service stinks to high heaven.  Whatever they tell you is a lie.  I want out from underneath At&T.

 

     I realize this page won't help that but everyone needs to know at&t STINKS!!!!!!!
