Ashorn Termite Control ripoff consumer fraud ripoff Vallejo California
We purchase our house in 1997, located at 431 Bluebell Place, Vallejo, CA 94591. Ashorn Pest and Construction was the company retained to perform the pest inspection by the previous owner/Coldwell Banker. After moving into our home we noticed termites on the hood of our truck, but thought they were flying ants.
During the sale of our home in 2000 we discovered termites again. While doing a records search of the purchase documents of our home at the Coldwell Banker office, I discovered documents that clearly show that not only had Mr. Ashorn not completed his work, but had also falsified his reports. We also noted that there was no certification sticker in our garage.
We called Ashorn back out during the sale of our home and Coldwell Banker and Ashorn assumed responcibility. However, Mr. Ashorn also stated that additional items had to be performed, which were found not to be neccessary. This would comply with the previous owners arguments with Mr. Ashorn, where they too claimed that he was over billing and had not done his job.
