Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I have been a PAYING user of aol for a good 7 years plus . I used AOl just fine last night and then this morning i tried logging in and it wouldnt let me. I also spent a lot of time on the phone with getting no one that would give me a reason other than I "may have violated terms of use" even though I have done nothing different than I have the last 7 years. I was told to write a letter to CAT to have my account reactiviated, so I did and went to the post office to overnight it $20.00. Once I left he post office the more I thought about it the more it pissed me off.

So I called back agian to get the same response and they couldnt give me a phone number for the people that choose to delete your accounts and she told me I needed to write a letter, but this time I got a different address and she said she had no clue why the 1st lady told me the wrong place to mail it. So I mail the 2nd letter (another $20.00) I could have sent it regular mail but all my banking, ect are emailed to my AOL account.

I had also let someone move in that got all my personal information (identity theft) for credit cards, passwords, ect. One of my credit cards that had charges made by this person were all sent to me in in email, that the detective needs but AOl will not even reactivate my account to get this inportant information printed off. For 4 days now i get you will get a call in 24 to 48 hrs and NOT ONE SINGLE CALL HAVE I GOTTEN, or any help from anyne at aol.

What a joke that someone can delete your account of over 7 years, I mean if you were sending out spam, ect wouldnt you have been doing it the 1st part of the 7 years. Or even better you would do it from a FREE email account. AOL needs to wake up and respect the people that actually still pay for email. You can get online and email for free. But for someone to close your account with no reason given to you, and all the years iof contacts and personal information saved on emails and no way to get to them.

Just so you know AOL, if me not getting the doctumation I need off my emails for the detective to do his job and get the person that got into my files and caused me to be a victom of Identity theft and fruad charges on my credit cards I will file a lawsuit. I have told EVERY person at AOl I would be more than happy to fax the police report so they wouldnt just think I was making it up. But that still didnt matter to them. Great customer service, what a joke!! So if anyone uses AOL, I would recomend finding a different email provider and getting all your information OFF AOL.
