Affordable Siding & Windows rip-off = BBB is a joke
Affordable contracted to do window and entry door replacements with FIRST quality products, service and lifetime FREE materials and labor warranty.
Job still not complete (began March 13) front entry door and side lights a joke (terrible quality) and enclosing back porch also contracted for is out of line (did not re-frame so door is cockeyed etc) Bow window replacement required plaster repair and painting by customer, et.
Would like to hear from anyone else that has had trouble with this company. We were promised a warranty for free lifetime, transfereable repair for ANY reason and that NO MONEY was due until job completed and we WERE COMPLETELY satisfied. We are not satisfied and job is still not complete. However substancial payment was requested on the 4th work day (March 17th) and sadly, we were dumb enough to make a partial payment.
Now we refuse to pay anymore until job is completed with the quality products we contracted for and Richard Caldwells response is to sue us.
He is a member of BBB (another joke) and they claim to offer mediation, instead when we complained to BBB they called our complaint judged administratively resolved without talking to us. Please, anyone with similar or any problers with the company, contact me.
