On March 14, 2010, I bought a computer laptop (Compaq CQ 40) AMD Turion X2 Dual Core 2.2 GHZ, Microsoft Windows 7 OS,  from ADI-ASIANIC outlet in SM Marikina at a retail price of 27,500. Six months after the monitor started to flicker. I went back to the store to have the unit repaired and was told by the sales lady, without first conducting an inspection that this particular unit have issues with the monitor. So I changed my mind from having the unit repaired to getting a replacement. To my surprise the sales lady said replacement is only good within seven days and thereafter units are for repairs only and told me to leave the unit but to my dismay I refused. I went to their other store in SM north edsa to look for the person who sold to me the unit but was told the same story that the unit is only for repair. I asked to see a manager to ventilate my concern and to my chagrin was told that there no mangers around and that all mangers are on leave for the next three months. Having felt that I was gypped by ADI I filed the complaint with the Department of Trade and Industry. After two grueling years of going to Makati from San Mateo I finally got a full refund.
