I pre-paid for one year on July 25, 1999 with an Internet Service Provider (ISP) Access 1. After March 1, 2000, customer support was no longer available. I waited for up to 4 hours with no answer. I called the Sales Department about how to request a refund on my subscription and they suggested that I fax a request to the Billing Department; I received no reply. I left numerous voice mail messages for the Billing Department and received no reply. I just called Billing again (4/21/2000 9:15 AM) and their voice messaging is not even available.
Several months ago, Access 1 had a promotion to sign up for their service for years in advance for the present yearly fee. They also had another promotion to sign up for life for a one-time fee in the $400 range. It looks to me like they have taken the money and run.
I subscribed to another ISP because Access Developers was no longer available and want to get a refund on the unused portion of my subscription ($10/month).
